When a baby is on the way, or newly born, we organise a gathering -- a party called a 'baby shower'. Friends bring gifts to the parents, just as the wise men brought gifts to Joseph and Mary when Jesus was born. Now it is about to happen again, but this time in an apocalyptic way. Let me explain...
We've got signs of birth. We've seen the sign of birth in the sky, the Revelation 12 sign of 2017. Having understood that it's approximately a seven year sign we can expect an end times birth in about the latter part of 2024 or there abouts. Given that "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" - Rev 19v10, we must study the birth of Jesus to understand the circumstances of the birth of the final generation.
Birth is difficult but it brings great blessing! The small scale slaughters of the innocent at the births of Jesus and Moses translate into a large scale world war when making the connection to Noah's flood:
Baby Moses escaped in a little 'ark' in exodus 2. Noah escaped in a much bigger ark. In both cases the same Hebrew word is used for ark, 'Tebah'.
Floods often describe war in Scripture.
Therefore if this proves to be the end times birth God promises his people an escape from the destruction of WW3, and he will help us prepare many arks of refuge so that many people may find shelter and many lives may be saved.
God will cause things to happen, and due to fear gifts will come to us as they did to baby Jesus. The animals came to Noah before the flood as an illustration. We will be given both physical and spiritual gifts during the end times birth, and the greater gifts will be the spiritual gifts to be poured out in the ‘latter rain’. The dove brought back the olive branch to Noah: God's Spirit, and God's peace.
The world will be greatly damaged and many lives will be lost in WW3, but it will mark a new beginning. A time of great fruitfulness will follow as it did for Noah after the flood. There will be a powerful ministry after WW3 just as there was for Jesus after his birth and baptism. The birth of the church on Pentecost involved blood and fire and the vapour of smoke, but then the work of the great commission began. This time it will be for us to complete.
A woman always knows when a baby on the way and together parents make preparations. Today with a nuclear war on the way we need to think big! God promises to give us all the wisdom we need if we are willing to humbly pray and ask for his help. To understand the end times birth we must understand how the birth of Jesus was foreshadowed in moments of birth all throughout Scripture.
Noah's preparation for the flood is one example, but there are more as illustrated in the Chiasm of Biblical Testimonies pictured below.
KINGS BRING GIFTS
The three wise men who brought gifts to Jesus are sometimes called 'the three kings'. Relating to the birth of Jesus in Revelation 12, the sun, the moon and the stars came to Egypt and bowed down to Joseph because God had helped him prepare food for the famine. To do this Joseph had worked with the government because God had revealed even to Pharoah that the famine would be world wide, and he put Joseph in charge. Today's Christian aid organisations will be given the job to prepare for nuclear war at quite short notice, funded and supplied by governmental decrees and orders all around the world. They will need massive manpower at very short notice --> the church.
There are several more important examples in Scripture of working with the government at times of birth. Therefore I'm urging Christian leaders to be ready to work with governments and business leaders to do something huge when the time and opportunity comes. God will use fear to cause this miracle to happen for the church, to the glory of God.
When the time comes we will also see the events of Daniel 11v36-44, an American war moving through the Middle East. Events will happen very quickly.
It will be like when the Israelites made their exodus from Egypt; with great speed, and with the Egyptians helping. God made the Egyptians favourably disposed to the Israelites in Exodus 11 and 12, and they gave the Israelites everything they asked for, even gold. Again, it was motivated by fear -- the deaths of the first born sons. War is similar. A mixed multitude of both Israelites and Egyptians arrived at Mount Sinai -- a terrifying mountain that resembles nuclear war.
An earlier example is in Genesis 12-15. Following the disease or pandemic, Pharoah sent Abraham and his family out of Egypt with so many possessions they couldn't all fit in the land. They were forced to spread out, but still they looked after each other during the war that followed. Abraham rescued Lot and they were blessed by Melchizedek. That's a very powerful blessing! Pentecost was a similar blessing.
Like Abraham, we have seen a pandemic, and now a great war appears to be coming, so this will be a Pentecost moment. By God's grace and through being prepared we will also be eating and drinking well, just as Abraham and Lot were after the war when they were blessed by Melchizedek.
God's blessing is also seen in the relationship between Abraham and Abimelech, the gentile King in Gerar. In Genesis 20 following the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah Abimelech was praising Abraham and showering him with gifts and blessings. He was allowed to live in the land wherever he wanted, and all this just prior to the birth of Isaac.
Another example of working successfully with the government is seen in the return of Ezra and Nehemiah to the land. King Cyrus paid for the trip back and he even paid for the rebuilding project, and to re-establish temple worship all from the royal treasury. What a blessing!
The decree of King Cyrus was also backed up by King Darius and Artaxerxes (Ezra 6v14). Ezra chs 6 & 7. Here we have three Kings sending gifts from the east just like when Jesus was born!
Take note, many Christians consider Trump to be a Cyrus figure. In view of nuclear war Christians around the world should anticipate a move back to the land, and God willing it will be with Government support - just prior to the nuclear button being pushed.
Jesus and his family were showered with gifts when the Wise men came from the east following the star to Bethlehem. We've now seen signs of birth in the sky, most notably the Revelation 12 sign of 2017. Therefore I think God will give us a 'baby shower' too. By God's grace we will come through nuclear war praising him for the gifts that he will pour out on his people.
The greatest gifts of the end times birth will be the spiritual gifts like those given to the early church on the day of Pentecost. Gifts of understanding prophecy, speaking in tongues and miraculous healings while being inspired to share our belongings and to care for each other.
The signs of birth that we have seen are pointing to the latter part of 2024 or there abouts. Given that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy we must study his birth to understand the circumstances of the birth of the final generation.
I want to motivate Christian leaders to think big. Lets seek God's help to be a blessing to all people during the war that's coming. For those who accept Jesus, birth brings peace, joy and good will to all. Our blessings will overflow greatly and many lives will be saved. Then a door will be opened to the gospel.
World war three will be a major wake up call from God to the people of the whole world: 'Repent! The end is near.' Many will repent, but sadly many others will not, or their repentance will be short lived and will not prove genuine. Revelation 9v21 speaks of mankind in general, and sadly they will go back to their idolatry and old sinful ways just as before.
“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues."
Revelation 18:4 ESV
At times of birth when God pours out his Spirit as we see in Genesis 9 and Acts 2, God pours his spirit out on all flesh. Believers praise God and he will give them good health, but many will not respond well, and they will suffer the plagues and hate God.
A great revival is coming, but that will be followed by a great apostasy, a falling away in the decades afterwards, before Jesus returns. However true believers and followers of Jesus will remain faithful until the end.
Will you be faithful until the end?
We must be prepared to follow Jesus all the way, and that journey leads to a moment of the cross in the end. This will be true for all of us (Hebrews 9v27). Those who remain alive until Jesus returns will share in his sufferings too. The persecution of the church is called an abomination that causes desolation in Matthew 24. If you know that we are the temple of God you will understand correctly what Jesus meant when he taught about the end of the world. Paul also used temple language to describe the end in 2 Thess 2.
However we need not worry about that today. We have signs of birth and birth is always a blessing to God's family, but birth requires repentance. We will do apocalyptic repentance by coming out of the cities prior to nuclear war, but let's be sure to act in spirit and truth. Then God will make us the end times voice in the wilderness, and many people will come out to be baptized into Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin, and the promises of eternal life.

Lets trust God and be ready to do everything possible to help people during the birth pains of WW3. We follow Jesus and God gives us success. If this truely proves to be the birth of the end times generation the struggle will be apocalyptic, but there are great blessings promised for God's people. Lets be ready to work with governments and businesses, and we will receive an apocalyptic baby shower of gifts so that we may be fully equipped, ready and able to help care for many people, and especially those who belong to the household of believers (Galatians 6v10).
