Signs, Astrology and Biblical Astronomy

Heavenly signs of the end times can sometimes be easily dismissed, even by good Christian leaders when they assume that these things will later be proven incorrect. I always respect a careful, cautious approach to such matters, just as long as people are willing to listen because most Christian leaders who do listen agree — we currently have a prophecy that is worth testing.

The Revelation 12 sign of 2017 was an alignment of the sun, moon and stars that precisely matches the description given in Revelation 12v1-2. It happened in 2017 for the first time in nearly 6000 years, and it resembles the birth of Jesus. But today we are considering the birth pains and birth of the final generation.

We also appear to have the sign of the dragon (Rev 12v3) as will be discussed later. If these prove to be true signs it suggests that we are coming to world war three, a nuclear war about seven years after the sign.

But as a moment of birth we can expect that God will bless his people. It will be for repentance, and for an awakening, a revival, even a Pentecost moment that will give rise to the powerful ministry of the final generation.

Very soon we will know for sure if this is true. In the meantime Paul says, “Do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.” — 1 Thess 5v20-21.

It is perfectly okay have a different opinion on things like this that are not salvation matters, but given the serious nature of modern war if the signs are true it is important to help those who doubt to resolve their questions as soon as possible so that we may work together and get prepared. Many lives are at stake.

Please prayerfully consider this matter, and share with everyone who is able to understand prophecy.

HEAVENLY SIGNS AND ASTROLOGY

Sometimes Christians have initial concerns about star signs and astrology because they are often used inappropriately for personal fortune telling. The skies are fairly unfamiliar to us today, so it is easily forgotten that the sky was actually well known and understood before the age of the electric light and television.

We have clear Biblical instruction not to engage in divination. Using astrology for fortune telling is wrong, (Deut 18v9-12). Pagan astrology is a corruption of the good things that God created.

Biblical astronomy aims to understand signs in the sky in the way that God intended. Job called the zodiac the mazzarot, which is the Jewish name for star constellations. Sometimes specific constellations are mentioned in Scripture. (Job 9:9, Job 38:31-32, Amos 5v8, 2 Kings 23v5, Jer 10v2).

Archeologists have found large mosaics of the Mazzarot in the floor of ancient Jewish synagogues. Many books have also been written about how God has put the gospel in the sky.

The heavens declare the glory of God,
    and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours out speech,
    and night to night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words,
    whose voice is not heard.
4 Their voice goes out through all the earth,
    and their words to the end of the world.
— Psalm 19v1-4 ESV

END TIMES BIRTH

Having paid careful attention to the Revelation 12 signs during the last 7 years I have strong reasons to believe that they are true signs from God, and that they don’t point to the end but rather to a moment of birth.

Perhaps the strongest reason is seen in the birth of Jesus himself: He was born with the sign in the sky that the Magi followed, (Mat 2v2).

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” — Rev 19v10.

Through studying the life of Jesus in Old Testament prophecy we get confirmation that God gives signs, even heavenly signs at times of birth.

At the birth of creation, when God made the heavens he specifically made them to be signs:

And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years,”
— Genesis 1:14

Noah’s flood was another global time of birth / baptism, and at that time God placed the rainbow in the sky. Floods are often used as metaphors to describe war.

The Revelation 12 sign originates from the dreams that Joseph had in Genesis 37, in which the sun, the moon and the stars bowed down to him, (Gen 37v9). He saved his family from the world wide famine, much like when Noah saved his family from the flood, and in that way it was like a birth. They were ‘born’ into Egypt as a new journey began.

Signs of birth are naturally quite disturbing. When the Magi brought reports to King Herod of the star in the east, “he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.”— Mat 2v3.

In Genesis 37 Jospeh’s family were disturbed. His father rebuked him and his brothers sold him as a slave.

In Isaiah 7 God offered King Ahaz the sign of birth — Immanuel, but the king refused the sign. This is very relevant to today’s question…

“Again, the Lord spoke to Ahaz, 11 “Ask the Lord your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.”

12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask; I will not put the Lord to the test.”

13 Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
— Isaiah 7v10-14.

This is the same as the sign of Revelation 12. It was a true sign in Isaiah’s time, and I believe it will be proven a true sign in our time too. The sign of Immanuel means “God with us.” The king shouldn’t have been so skeptical, it was a true seven year warning.

Like Jospeh who had seven years to prepare for a seven year famine in Egypt, this sign was about a seven year warning of war:

Isaiah continued…

“He (Immanuel) will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, 16 for before the boy knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, the land of the two kings you dread will be laid waste. 17 The Lord will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah—he will bring the king of Assyria.”
— Isaiah 7v15-17.

The war by the King of Assyria was a moment of birth for the faithful remnant, the survivors in Israel. It was the beginning of a new journey while Assyria ruled the world. World war three will be like a birth to us.

We always see birth coming. It is not like the end which can come like a thief. Birth is obvious to everyone, and birth generally happens about on time (Gen 21v2). So if these signs prove to be true we can expect a moment of birth for the final generation as the war reaches a climax about 7 years after the 2017 sign, in about 2024.

The signs get stronger as the time gets closer, so I have also written about some one year signs, and also some three month signs that we can expect during the next year or two: Seven Year Warning

An American invasion of the Middle East in fulfilment of Daniel 11v36-44 will give us the strongest confirmation that we need to prepare for nuclear war.

THE GOSPELS

Jesus described signs including wars and rumours of wars when “the end is NOT YET”, and he called them “the beginning of birth pains.” (Mat 24v6-8). He went on to describe the whole journey of the final generation (Mat 24v34).

In Luke 21 as Jesus was describing the birth pains he said there would be “fearful events and great signs from heaven”. (v11).

The signs in Luke 21v11 correspond to “the beginning of birth pains” in Matt. 24v8 and Mark 13v8, when the end is “NOT YET.”

Regarding the end, a little later Jesus said, “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.” (v25).

The signs in Luke 21v25 correspond to the signs in Mat 24v29 and Mark 13v25. These occur on the Day of the Lord, not as a warning of the end, but as confirmation that the end has come. Similarly, when Jesus was crucified, while he was on the cross the sky became dark.

The signs and the events at the time of birth strongly resemble the signs at the end, but there are some important differences. Wars and rumours of war come at the time of birth when the end is not yet, but at the end men will be saying, ‘peace and safety’ when the end will come (1 Thess 5v3).

We see the form of a testimony where God’s son encounters the dragon two times, first as a baby (the escaped relates to repentance) then again at the end through death and resurrection, (the final judgement and kingdom glory).

The circumstances of birth — the signs, the struggle, and the King Herod moment of destruction foreshadow a greater encounter with the dragon that comes at the end.

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” — Rev 19v10 (and Rev 1v1-2). This means that we need to study the life of Jesus to understand what will happen at the time of the end, assuming that there is going to be an apocalyptic journey for the final generation with a moment of birth, and a journey / ministry before the end.

JESUS’ EXAMPLE

Jesus was born with a sign in heaven, and for Herod it’s exact timing was important (Mat 2v7). Angels met shepherds, and there was prophecy in the temple. And of course John the Baptist came first. So the birth comes with clear signs.

When Jesus reached the end of his life and ministry his enemies came like thieves in the night while the disciples were sleeping. He taken and crucified. Then the sky was darkened, and that happened after he was nailed to the cross, while he was dying. The heavenly sign was not a warning of the end so much as confirmation that the end had in fact come. It relates to “the sign of the Son of Man” in Mat 24v30, when all the nations will mourn.

In his teaching Jesus confirms that there is no sign of the end except the sign of Jonah which is death and resurrection. In Matthew 16v1-4 when the Pharisees asked for a sign from heaven, Jesus derided them for not being able to interpret the signs of the times. The signs had been given and they had not recognised them. So Jesus warned them about the end, saying “a wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” (Mat 16v4). That is death — the end itself, and resurrection.

PENTECOST

In many cases of Bible prophecy we see that the end of one testimony of Jesus is the beginning of another. So in Acts 2 the signs in the sky that they all saw during the crucifixion were signs of birth for the church, as the next pattern began.

“I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Acts 2v19-21.

The birth and journey of the first generation of the church up to 70AD reveals the birth and journey of the last days generation up to the end.

“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times what is still to come.” — Isaiah 46v10.

We are now seeing the signs of Acts 2:

— “Wonders in the heaven above”; the Revelation 12 sign of 2017, and the Eclipse Reversal of 2015.
— “Signs on the earth below”; the pandemic, the arms race, and much more.
— “Blood, fire and billows of smoke”; the war has already begun in Ukraine.
— “The sun to darkness and the moon to blood”; a nuclear winter will do that.
— “before the great and glorious day of the Lord”; Pentecost is not the end, its a birth
— “and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”; we will be blessed to escape the destruction of nuclear war, and we can expect a great awakening, revival, and the outpouring of God’s Spirit in a Pentecost moment with the birth of the final generation.

Revelation 12v4 describes falling stars at the time of birth: “His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.” This comes with war (v7). But but both the woman and child escaped.

EXODUS

The birth of the nation of Israel at the Exodus was very similar to the birth of the church on Pentecost. They came to Mount Sinai in the third month, as was Pentecost. The birth baptism imagery is clear (Ex 4v22, Hos 11v1, Mat 2v15, 1 Cor 10v2). Mount Sinai was a fearful King Herod moment for the new born nation, very much like nuclear war. The clean / unclean food laws will be especially relevant to living in a polluted, post apocalyptic world.

Again we see great signs and wonders during that time of birth:

“Has any other people heard the voice of God speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived? Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders, by WAR, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?”
— Deuteronomy 4:33‭-‬34

The signs we see today do not point to the end. They are pointing to a moment of birth. Therefore we need to be ready for action so that we may care for God’s children, God’s family, and as many people as possible.

Please pray about these things, study the birth and be ready for action, especially if we see the events of Daniel 11, which are most likely to begin this year. We need a nuclear war plan.

The Eclipse Reversal was important in my personal journey, so I’ll write a bit extra on that…

THE ECLIPSE REVERSAL

The Eclipse Reversal and the Biblical Blood Moon Tetrad of 2015 is believed to be the sign of the dragon because in ancient times whenever there was an eclipse people said, ‘Look, the dragon is taking a bite out of the sun, or the moon.’

The draconic month was named in ancient times because of this understanding.

The Eclipse Reversal was caused by an eclipse cycle called the Inex which has (388.5 months in half a cycle) or 777 draconic months in it’s full cycle — ‘God’s Dragon’.

The surrounding eclipses happened on Jewish holy days, and the reversal occurred on Epiphany eve, — ‘appearance’.

The astronomy of the Eclipse Reversal suggests “God’s dragon has appeared.”

The sign of the dragon in Revelation 12v3 comes first because “the dragon stood in front who was about to give birth so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.” — Rev 12v4

The Eclipse Reversal in 2015 was more than two years ahead of the Birth of 2017.

As the signs of Revelation 12 are believed to be 7 year warnings, it is very significant that it was seven years after the Eclipse Reversal of 5th January 2015 that Putin was surrounding Ukraine, in January 2022, and in February the war began.

Seven years after the Rev. 12 sign of 2017 of birth points to about 2024.

Therefore we can expect nuclear war in less than 2 years.

In mid 2015 before God gave me the Eclipse Reversal, I had a powerful vision in which I saw Donald Trump as the King Herod figure of the final generation. It was a few weeks later while I was looking at the blood moon tetrad that many Christians were discussing, when I saw the pattern known as the Eclipse Reversal. I went to my local university to ask an astronomer what causes the pattern, and his response amazed me. After needing a day to look into it, he told me, ‘It’s a real phenomenon, but something new to science… It’s a scientific discovery.’ They didn’t know what caused it, so he said they would need to study it…

The astronomer was very excited.

I was already very shocked and greatly awakened after my vision about Trump as the King Herod figure, so this sign came as a powerful confirmation, and I nearly died in amazement.

I was greatly motivated to study the phenomenon to try to understand it.

That’s how I began preparing for this mission.

Psalms 19:1‭-‬4
”The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

If you come to believe these signs are true, please do everything that you can to alert people, and to help prepare for war. God is good. He promises us success.
