Signs of Birth
Important moments of birth come with signs:
Jesus was born with a sign in heaven, which the Magi followed to Bethlehem.
Noah’s flood brought the sign of the rainbow in the sky as God made a covenant.
Moses’ birth relates to the Revelation 12 sign in two ways:
— his escape from the slaughter of the infants,
— as part of the larger Egypt story from Joseph’s time.
The Revelation 12 sign
A special sign has recently been observed: the Revelation 12 sign of 23rd September 2017. This sign relates to the birth of Jesus and Moses, and is a cosmic display of repentance.
Having recently occurred in our skies, this sign is believed to be God’s announcement of the coming birth of the final generation.
The Sign of Birth:
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. — Revelation 12v1-2
This alignment happened in the sky during the Jewish feast of Trumpets, on Shabbat Shuva, the day of Repentance in 2017. If you have not yet heard or are unfamiliar, please be sure to have a look:
— Revelation 12 sign.
The Sign of the Dragon:
Revelation 12 continues:
Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon…
The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. — Revelation 12v3-4.
The dragon is Satan, and symbolically King Herod or Egypt. Egypt was called ‘Rahab’ — the dragon (Job 26v12-13, Isaiah 30v7, 51v9-10, Psalm 87v4, 89v11). The dragon wants to devour the Christ child.
In addition to the above mentioned sign of birth in 2017, a remarkable reversal pattern in the eclipses began in 2015, apparently the sign of the dragon (Rev 12v3):
— The Eclipse Reversal of 2015.
The Escape from War:
She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
And there was war in heaven... — Revelation 12v5-7a.
from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman… — Revelation 12v15-16a
In addition to the Revelation 12 sign, more impressive signs relating to conflict at the appointed time of birth include:
— God’s 777 Signs,
— Biblical Chronology: 6000 Years.
By pointing to birth, these signs do not indicate an imminent end. Instead they present a warning, and a call to repentance. They also give us reason to consider making an escape prior to an apocalyptic war.
The end differs from the birth in that it comes without warning, like a thief in the night.
— There is no sign of the end.
Interpretation
The Origin of the Revelation 12 Sign
The Revelation 12 sign originates from two Old Testament signs of birth:
Joseph in Genesis helped Israel escape famine by going down to Egypt. Joseph dreamed about his family in terms of “the sun, moon and eleven stars” coming to bow down to him (Genesis 37v9). That was the ‘birth’ of the Egypt journey.
Immanuel in Isaiah 7 was born as a sign when the King of Assyria was coming. The faithful remnant escaped.
These two stories provide important context to Revelation 12, being the source of the imagery for that sign of birth, so to understand the Revelation 12 sign of 2017 we need to study Jospeh and Immanuel as they relate to the birth of Jesus.
