Birth of the Final Generation

The Cross2Victory.com website is inspired by a deep love for the gospel of Jesus, and a sincere belief that the Bible is a book of prophecy with an urgent message for us today — a message perhaps to the final generation.

When world war three comes, will God forewarn and protect his people?

Christians, please consider the life story of Jesus as God's plan for the last days. In the typologies of the Old Testament a journey is revealed for the final generation of God’s people with an escape from calamity, with blessings and power as we work to complete the great commission until the perfection of the Kingdom of God is suddenly revealed from heaven.

“The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy” - Rev 19v10b.

The testimony of Jesus began at his birth, and also with his baptism. In both cases Jesus escaped an initial calamity. He was then blessed with a powerful life and ministry. The final battle took place at the cross where Jesus won a glorious victory – for us.

This victory is the defeat of sin and death. The truth and success of God’s plan was revealed when He rose from the grave and ascended into heaven. The victory Jesus won at the cross is the bases for our faith and our hope for eternal life, confirmed in our hearts by His Spirit.

We who believe are saved, but we are not glorified yet. For now the victory at the cross is our hope for the future. We all have a long way to go before we attain the perfection and immortality that is promised, but Jesus has obtained it for us, so He is the object of our journey of faith.

Today we should also consider the significance of the birth and the baptism that comes at the beginning of the journey.

To come to a saving faith in Jesus is to be ‘born again’ — spiritually. It involves a ‘baptism’ — a symbolic death and resurrection using water to represent our spiritual resurrection as we put to death our sinful nature and receive the Holy Spirit, being born into the kingdom of God.

Consider the prophetic implications of the calamity at Jesus’ birth:

King Herod tried to kill Jesus, but Joseph and Mary escaped with their child to Egypt. It was a failed attempt by Satan. Out of Egypt God calls His Son.

This initial attack by Satan was tried again at Jesus’ baptism. Immediately after His baptism, Jesus had 40 days of testing in the desert where the Devil tempted him, but Jesus remained obedient to his Father.

Again Satan failed, and this time Jesus’ ministry was born.

The prophetic journey of God’s people in the last days will also begin with a birth, and a baptism. The Scriptures reveal an apocalyptic calamity — world war three in which a quarter or a third of everything will be destroyed, but the end is delayed. It's a kind of birth. It's the beginning of a special prophetic journey.

From the Old Testament we can consider the birth of Moses in circumstances like the birth of Jesus.

The Exodus / Mount Sinai story is also a kind of birth for Israel, and is referred to as a “baptism” (1Cor 10v2), just like Noah’s flood (1 Peter 3v20-21). They represent an escape, and the beginnings of a journey into times of world government — Nimrod / wilderness wonderings.

Joseph and the seven year famine is another example of a severe calamity that began a time in Egypt.

Likewise, the birth story of Immanuel focuses on a calamity as the King of Assyria comes, destroying the land.

These Old Testament stories are important prophetically as we consider the calamity to come with the birth of the final generation. These examples are discussed in more detail on the web page called, “God's Plan”.

The story of Abraham and Isaac is also of great importance where a chiasm of calamities all focus on the birth of a blessed child. See “Abraham’s Prophecy”.

So consider the message of the apocalypse:

The final generation will be born into a time of calamity, and God’s people will come to know his divine protection at the Pentecost of the final generation as we are blessed and empowered for the great journey and ministry of the last days.

Our escape from this initial calamity might be like a rapture, but it won’t be the kind of rapture that some hope for. There is still work to be done for the kingdom of God.

However it will begin the ultimate journey. There will be times of testing, for growing in righteousness and in the power of God. It will begin the ultimate ministry of the last days as we are awakened to go and complete the work of the great commission.

Until He comes!

The first event at the time of birth is only a sign.

Jesus was raptured to safety to escape the dragon at an early stage in his life when King Herod was after him.

Revelation 12v5 describes the rapture (“harpazo” in the Greek). It was a snatching away for his protection, and empowerment. So Jesus’ escape from King Herod was a rapture — but not to heaven. Jesus went down to Egypt, and then out of Egypt God called his son (Mat 2v15), to live a blessed life and serve a powerful ministry.

The woman of Revelation 12 also fled from the dragon. She escaped, but it was no rapture to heaven. She was given the wings of an eagel to fly to the desert, to a place prepared where she would be taken care of during the prophetic times of the last days, (Rev 12v6 and 14). The imagry again relates to an exodus from Egypt (Ex 19v4), an escape from the sea monster who’s figurative name was “Rahab”, the dragon (Is 51v9).

Both mother and child share the same story. The escape is an act of God in snatching his people out of harm’s way, a divine warning to flee from the calamity that begins the prophetic journey.

Signs are now being observed. We have observed both signs of Revelation 12v1-3. Both the woman in the sky giving birth — the king star, Jupiter was born from Virgo precisely as described, and the appearance of the great red dragon — the Eclipse Reversal.

They come as divine warnings that call us to consider the birth and escape of the final generation who are about to live the apocalyptic testimony of God, just as it was revealed in the life of Christ Jesus, and all throughout the Scriptures in types and parallels.

It is believed that the world is about to face the initial calamity that comes with the birth of the anointed child of God, the christ child generation of the last days.

We are called to escape from this first great calamity as we are born into the last days. God’s divine help is promised, so we may do what is necessary to look after each other.

The circumstances leading up to the calamity are given in Daniel 11v36-44. It will be a war involving “the mightiest of fortresses”. This certainly involves the USA, Russia and China. A sequence of invasions is described that leads up to a King Herod style act of destruction (Dan 11v44).

Revelation 12 also reveals war. The stars will fall. A great conflict will bring enormous birth pains on the world, but there will be a miraculous kind of escape for the final generation of God’s people.

Revelation 6, 8 and 9 describes the severity of this war as Trumpets of wrath, a calamity that will forewarn of the final judgment yet to come. The modern King Herod figure bears that name. I expect he will return with wrath.

There is a lot to consider, too much for one blog post, but important signs observed, and especially the birth in 2017 provides a seven year warning as suggested by the typologies of Joseph and the famine (7 years to prepare for a seven year famine), and Immanuel (the age of reason).

Therefore a very major conflict is expected in about the year 2023, 2024, or 2025. World war three will be a full scale nuclear war.

The Cross2Victory.com website examines the signs and the prophecy. Pray that we may do what is necessary to escape the calamity, to care for each other, and to serve God in the last days.

A child is born, Immanuel — the body of Christ, the church born into the last days. He will eat curds and honey in the wilderness of this world, and God’s Spirit will be poured out on all. Then our final period of witnessing and ministry work will begin.

To the law and to the testimony.” - Is 8v20

The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.

After escaping the Devil's temptations, Jesus began his ministry by saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” (Mat 4v17). Our message will be the same, and with great urgency after we witness the beginning of birth pains, after surviving nuclear war — and then knowing for certain that this is the final generation is here, those who shall not all pass away until the whole story of Jesus is fulfilled in us – Matthew 24.

God’s law is life and contains wisdom for how to live a healthy and blessed life in a badly damaged, post-apocalyptic world. Jesus fulfilled the law, and so will we, but no-one can be saved by observing the law. The gospel of Jesus is about faith in His victory at the cross, the source of righteousness and eternal life to all who believe and follow him.

To the law and to the testimony — made wise regarding the curse. As Jesus lived, so must we, following Him all the way — even when called to bear the cross.

The ultimate battle of the cross comes at the end of the journey. The abomination that causes desolation, or battle of Armageddon will be the final battle, and will bring the ultimate victory. By God’s power we will cross2victory.

God's plan is to present His people of faith perfect in Christ.
