ISRAEL'S ARMAGEDDON

"Their failure means riches for the Gentiles" ( AGAIN !! )

The modern nation of Israel is a true miracle of God, but now they are at war, and coming to the end of their journey. The signs are clear that God is about to do something much greater. If I understand correctly Israel is about to face a moment of the cross, and it will be something that resembles the death and resurrection of Jesus. The world will feel huge birth pains, but afterwards there will be an outpouring of God's Spirit, an awakening and great world wide revival. By God's grace the survivors will set out once more to bring to completion the work that began on Pentecost.

A moment of the cross in Israel will mean a biblical moment of birth for the world. As the apostle Paul said, "if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!" -- Romans 11v12

Today as we consider what's coming for the modern nation Israel my purpose is to comment on what happens at the end of prophecy. We are going to see it in the next few months if the Revelation 12 sign of 2017 proves true, and my concern is that we are about to see something that will foreshadow the end of the world. But I am confident that God's purposes are good, and we needn't fear. Usually I focus more on the topic of birth and the beginning of prophecy, so today's topic, Israel and the end of prophecy is a little different.

Don't worry, I'm not predicting the end of the world. That time is not for us to know. But I think we are about to see the destruction of the modern nation of Israel, or a kind of death. It will be a very serious war. I think what we are about to see will foreshadow the end of the world.

There are reasons to believe that the generation who saw WW2 and the birth of modern Israel is only the penultimate generation, that is the second last. I see Israel as the forerunner to the final generation just as Elijah was forerunner to Elisha, or John the Baptist was forerunner to Jesus. When the forerunner is taken, a more powerful ministry begins (Romans 11v12), so I am optimistic about the future for the generation to come, but in the short term I'm concerned that we are approaching WW3, and the birth pains of the final generation.

PATTERNS OF TWO WITNESSES

When God brings biblical prophecy to fulfilment he gives us a physical manifestation of the spiritual journey of salvation, and it comes in two parts, having two witnesses. They are two separate ministries, and the second is always much greater as it relates to the new life that we have in Christ. They are two separate lives or two testimonies that relate to each other as flesh relates to spirit, or as the old man relates to the new man. The transition from old to knew involves a miracle of God, and an escape from the dragon. The difficulty of the transition relates to the struggle of repentance at the time of spiritual new birth.

I believe the modern nation of Israel is the first of two witnesses in the end times, and we are about to see miracles of God. It will be difficult, especially for Israel, involving a moment of the cross, and a great scattering as the old testimony comes to an end, but after WW3 there will be an outpouring of God's Spirit on the world, and Jewish and gentile believers alike will be awakened to know God much more intimately. It will be a kind of Pentecost moment, and we will become one in Christ, Jewish and gentile believers united. Then a much more powerful ministry will begin for the final generation as we get back on with the job of completing the great commission.

In patterns of two witnesses (or sometimes there can be three), when the time comes for God to act the first witness dies, or is taken and the second witness is born so that a more powerful ministry may begin. For example, Elijah was taken by a chariots of fire and horses of fire (2 Kings 2v11), and Elisha received a double portion of the spirit. Another example is of John and Jesus. After John baptised Jesus he said, "He must increase, and I must decrease." - John 3v30.

From another perspective Jesus represents the flesh for it says that he "came in the flesh", so when Jesus had completed his testimony by dying and rising again he sent the Spirit to the Church on Pentecost. An even more powerful ministry was born. There are many examples of two witnesses throughout Scripture.

In the next few months, in the leadup to the seventh anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign we are about to see a transition as modern Israel's time is completed and the final generation is born. Like Elijah, Israel will be taken in chariots of fire as the war that fulfils Daniel 11v36-44 spreads rapidly through the Middle East. But it won't stop there. When we see what happens to Israel we will know that WW3 has begun, so we need to take urgent action.

God will put it in our hearts to do what Elisha did when he struck the waters with the cloak and reenacted the exodus. In that way Elisha demonstrated the miracle of birth. The Exodus is a type (Exodus 4v22, 1 Cor 10v2). By God's grace he promises to do miracles for us when we see what happens to Israel. WW3 will be a nuclear war, but many lives will be saved, and just as Elisha had a double portion of God's Spirit, so will we when the journey of the final generation begins.

I have written much more on the topic, but it is too much to post as one article, so I'll finish this post with a few key points that I hope to explain further in future, and a brief description of what I expect is about to happen in the Middle East in the next few months.

If the Revelation 12 sign proves to be a true seven year sign (and I fully believe it is) I'm expecting Israel to get into a fierce war in which all their enemies will be united against them. Iran is their greatest enemy. Egypt will also be involved (Daniel 11v42-43), but Jordan not as much, (Daniel 11v41). America will fight to help Israel and perhaps also to secure the Suez Canal, but the war will be horrible. It will be an abomination that causes desolation, or a Gog Magog moment for Israel.

I have had strong feelings about Iran based on a vision that I had in 2003, which I have mentioned along with other dreams and visions on the Cross2Victory website. The vision didn't reveal any specific details, but all things considered, through studying biblical patterns and applying them to what we see unfolding today, I am sorry to say that I think Iran will probably hit Israel with a nuclear bomb. Hopefully many people will have left the country before that happens, but there will certainly be great bloodshed.

THE TIMING

We don't know the time of the end, but in patterns of two witnesses, because they are interconnected we can foresee the end of the first testimony based on the signs of the birth of the second testimony, and currently we have perfect signs of birth. Previously I have discussed 7 year signs, 2 year signs and one year signs. There will also be some 5 month signs and 7 week signs.

All of these are approximate because no one can predict the exact time of birth, but biblical moments of birth do happen approximately on time (Gen 21v2, Matt 2vs7&16, Gal 4v4), so we should consider the signs carefully. The information is on the Cross2Victory website. To keep this article as brief as possible I'll just mention the five month signs and seven week signs as they are due very soon. There are five months from April or May to the seventh anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign which is on 23rd September, or according to the Jewish calendar the 4th October.

FIVE MONTH SIGNS:

The time has come for us to watch out for an approximate five month sign. There are a few examples in Scripture at biblical moments of birth: Elizabeth hid herself for five months before the birth of John (Luke 1v24). Five month signs are also seen before and after the climax of Noah's flood (Genesis 7v24-8v3). Another example is found in Revelation 9vs3 & 10.

A five month sign is expected to come in the form of a flood of war in the Middle East, the regional war described in Daniel 11v40-44. I have been suggesting that an approximate five month warning should be most expected sometime around April or May this year approximately. That's by counting back from the seventh anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign which will be on 23rd September 2024 on our calendar, or about the 4th October on the Jewish calendar. But remember, a seven year sign is quite a long shot, so these dates are approximate.

SEVEN WEEK SIGN:

If this war leads to a nuclear attack on Israel as I suspect, it will resemble the slaughter of the Passover lambs that took place at the time of the exodus. There were about seven weeks from the exodus to Mount Sinai, or from the crucifixion of Jesus to Pentecost. Therefore I expect an attack of this kind on Israel would likely come as an approximate seven week warning prior to a full scale nuclear war between Russia, China and America, for the end times birth.

An approximate seven week warning event might also involve rogue state attacks on Washington, if for example North Korea coordinates with Iran in attacking Israel and America together. If that happens or something similar I expect it will result in a surprise second coming of Trump to office at a time we wouldn't normally expect. I'm speculating, but if Presidential succession is triggered, Trump's return could be via the House Speaker position.

I suggest this because of the powerful life changing vision that I had in 2015 in which I saw Trump as the man described in Daniel 11v36 and 44. If I understand correctly the war will climax sometime around the seventh anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign of 2017, so possibly before the November election. I don't know for sure how these things will happen, I'm speculating on the details, but this scenario is based on my strongly held belief that Trump will push the nuclear button triggering a full scale war shortly after his return to office. A surprise early second coming of Trump about seven weeks before a full scale nuclear war would be a symbolic resemblance of the second coming of Jesus, coming at a time we don't expect and with fire from heaven.

The severe destruction that this war is likely to bring to the modern nation of Israel will be for them a great tribulation, an abomination and a moment of death, but according to the pattern of two witnesses when the first ministry comes to an end a greater one is born. WW3 will be the birth pains as the final generation is born, and as difficult as birth is, it brings blessing and a more powerful ministry to the family of God, to believers in Jesus, both Jews and Gentiles together.

Please watch and pray about these things. God will help us to alert others and to work together for the greater good so that many lives will be saved. We don't need to fear. God promises to work all things for the good of those who love him, but please be ready and take action. We must prepare for the end times birth.
